Access Control

Use Access Control to manage how users and tools sign in to the Analytics Hub portal and what they’re allowed to do once they’re in. The Hub supports role-based access control (RBAC) with three identity options: native users, LDAP/Active Directory, and SAML. You can also grant non-interactive access via APIClosed An API is a set of functions to allow creation of applications. Keyfactor offers the Keyfactor API, which allows third-party software to integrate with the advanced certificate enrollment and management features of Keyfactor Command. keys. Map users or groups to roles; permissions are enforced uniformly across all auth methods.

What’s Inside
  • API Keys

Create, import, lock/unlock, and delete API keys for REST access. Assign roles to each key and set re-authentication/timeout as needed.

  • LDAP Configuration

Integrate with LDAP/AD for user authentication and group-to-role mapping. Configure connection settings, search filters, TLSClosed TLS (Transport Layer Security) and its predecessor SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) are protocols for establishing authenticated and encrypted links between networked computers./certificate validation, and role mapping.

  • SAML Configuration

Enable SSO via your IdP. Set ACS host/URL, IdP login URL, certificates/signature checks, and group-to-role mapping.

  • Users

Manage native accounts (create, edit, lock/unlock, force logout). Adjust native authentication settings such as minimum password length and session timeout.

  • Roles

Define permission sets that can be assigned to users or API keys. Add/remove granular permissions to fit least-privilege needs.
