Documentation Navigation Help

The Keyfactor documentation includes:

Home Page and Portal Navigation

To navigate to Keyfactor documentation:

1. From the Keyfactor Client Portal (https://keyfactor.zendesk.com) select Command and Related Products under Product Documentation. This will open the Keyfactor Software & Documentation Portal.

2. From the Keyfactor Software & Documentation Portal select Product Documentation.

Navigating the Keyfactor Documentation Home Page

The Home Page features include:

1. Clicking on the Keyfactor Logo anywhere in the documentation will take you to the Keyfactor Software & Documentation Portal.
2. Click Documentation Help for navigation and feature instructions.
3. Click an individual button to open the respective section of the Keyfactor Command Documentation Suite.
4. Search all of Keyfactor Command Documentation Suite from the home page using filters (see filters below).
5. Click Additional Products to open a page with links to related Keyfactor products.
   Note:  Clicking the Additional Products button will change the name and action of the button to Core Product Suite to allow you to return to the Core Products page.
6. Click Download PDFs to open a page with links to download documentation PDFs for ALL Keyfactor products.
   Note:  Clicking the Downloads PDFs button will change the name and action of the button to Core Product Suite to allow you to return to the Core Products page.

Documentation Navigation Features

1. Click the Keyfactor Logo to return to the Keyfactor Software & Documentation Portal.
2. Re-trace your steps by clicking the link to a previous page using breadcrumbs:
3. Return to the top of the page in one click with the Back to Top button.
4. Return to the Documentation Home Page by clicking the link on the top menu.
5. Go directly to the beginning of a specific Guide by clicking the link on the top menu.
6. Click Navigate Previous and Navigate Next to move through sections in the TOC order.
7. Toggle (Expand All/Collapse All) drop-downs on the page.
8. Toggle the Table of Contents (Display/Hide) for that section of the documentation by clicking the TOC button.
9. Use Search to find all instances of a word or phrase in the documentation.

10. Filter your search to search through all the guides, or limit the results to:

    • Just the Keyfactor Command Reference Guide
    • Just the Keyfactor Command Server Installation Guide
    • Just the Keyfactor Orchestrators Installation and Configuration Guide
    • Just the Keyfactor Command Release Notes & Upgrading
    • Just the Keyfactor API A set of functions to allow creation of applications. Keyfactor offers the Keyfactor API, which allows third-party software to integrate with the advanced certificate enrollment and management features of Keyfactor Command.
    • Exclude the Keyfactor API (include others)
