Overview

Keyfactor exposes two APIs for external use:

• The Keyfactor API A set of functions to allow creation of applications. Keyfactor offers the Keyfactor API, which allows third-party software to integrate with the advanced certificate enrollment and management features of Keyfactor Command. was introduced in Keyfactor Command version 6.1 and is the newer API. Customers should be using this API going forward.
• The Classic API has been provided in the product for several product generations and is continuing to be supported for legacy implementations but should not be used for new implementations.
