Identity Providers
Identity providers in Keyfactor Command are used to provide a method for authenticating access to the Keyfactor Command Management Portal and Keyfactor API An API is a set of functions to allow creation of applications. Keyfactor offers the Keyfactor API, which allows third-party software to integrate with the advanced certificate enrollment and management features of Keyfactor Command.. An identity provider type and, for OAuth, one or more identity providers is selected during the Keyfactor Command installation process and typically would not need to be updated. However, if you decide to migrate your Keyfactor Command implementation from one identity provider type to another, or need to add more OAuth identity providers, you can add the new provider(s) by re-running the configuration wizard, in the Management Portal, or with the Keyfactor API. Authentication with only one type of identity provider at a time (Active Direcory or OAuth) for a given Keyfactor Command server is supported.

You can also find the help icon () at the top of the page next to the Log Out button. From here you can choose to open either the Keyfactor Software & Documentation Portal at the home page or the Keyfactor API Endpoint Utility.
Keyfactor provides two sets of documentation: the On-Premises Documentation Suite and the Managed Services Documentation Suite. Which documentation set is accessed is determined by the Application Settings: On-Prem Documentation setting (see Application Settings: Console Tab).
